Warren Connell, Vice President of Park Development, from Calgary Stampede will be the guest speaker for the BOMA June Luncheon.
He will present on the Stampede’s Master Plan projects that have or
are about to become a reality, including the launch of the Agrium Western Event
Centre, the development of the Youth Campus in partnership with the Calgary
Arts Academy, and the current flood remediation work taking place on Park
leading up to the development of Riverfront Park.
Just before the Stampede starts you won't want to miss this event!
Warren Connell, Vice-President, Park Development
Warren Connell became head of the Operations division of the Calgary
Stampede in 1988. His role expanded in 1995 when he became the
Stampede’s liaison for the World Fair bid, a role that eventually
expanded into Park Development and Community Relations. In December
2006, Warren was promoted to his current position which oversees
construction and park development.
In addition to his work at the Calgary Stampede, Warren sits on the
Calgary Municipal Land Corporation board advisory committee. He attended
the University of Calgary to obtain a bachelor of commerce degree prior
to accepting employment with the Calgary Stampede.
