The climate is changing, bringing higher temperatures, different rainfall patterns, and increasing risk from severe weather events. This increasing climate risk has created new challenges for building owners, managers and operators. As part of our ongoing partnership with the City of Calgary, we bring you a new installment of our information session exploring the risks associated with stormwater, flood, and drought.
Join us for a webinar hosted by BOMA Calgary with experts from the City of Calgary who will speak to resources available to you and steps you can take to increase your properties’ resiliency, on what you should know and what you could do to reduce your risk, add value to your buildings, and protect your operations. Main Presenter: Kyle White, Program Strategist - Natural Environment and Adaptation, Climate and Environment Co-Presenter: TBC Kyle White is a program strategist with close to 20 years experience in the development and delivery of environmental programs across the municipal, provincial and non-profit sector. Kyle started his career developing waste strategies with the Town of Banff and has been with the City of Calgary for 16 years, during which time he has worked on projects ranging from water efficiency and flood education to construction environmental best practices. Kyle holds a Master’s degree in leadership and sustainability from Blekinge Technical Institute in Karlskrona Sweden, and is supporting the implementation of the City’s recently approved Stormwater Strategy.
