Join Kaitlyn Gillis, Wellbeing + Sustainability Specialist with Stantec, as she reviews health and wellbeing as it pertains to the built environment. Drawing on recent research from public health and environmental psychology, we will discuss some of the top health and wellbeing strategies that can be incorporated into both existing buildings and new construction projects. The session will also include a high level overview of two health focused building rating systems, WELL and Fitwel. Finally, the session will end with a snap shot of health issues related to climate change and how buildings play a role in reducing these impacts.
