Matt Zabloski, Business Strategist, City of Calgary

Matt Zabloski has worked with the City of Calgary for the past 8 years. During this time he has worked as a Planner with Planning and Development and as an Executive Advisor in Calgary Community Standards. In his current role as a Business Strategist with Community Standards he is the project lead responsible for coordinating The City’s response to the legalization of cannabis. He has also served as a member of the Technical Advisory Group for the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ response to cannabis legalization and been a witness for the Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology during their study of Bill C-45.

Jeff Bradshaw, President & CEO of Cannabis Learning Series

For more than 25 years Jeff has worked to continue to modernize the way we communicate and educate in corporate environments. With that longevity, he has had to constantly evolve with the times. From low-tech and offline solutions, to digital online technology, and now to the modern connected workforce, he is always focused on solutions and results.   Jeff’s belief is that integrating strategic thinking and visual storytelling into the creation of educational content creates a more engaged blended visual learning experience.  

As a early adopter and lifetime entrepreneur, it was Jeff’s interest in cannabis legalization that lead to the creation of the Cannabis Learning Series in late 2017.  Now Jeff and his team of advisors actively engage and educate employers on the impact cannabis legalization will have on the workplace.

Christopher Rundle, Office Leasing Associate, Barclay Street

Chris Rundle is a Calgarian who has worked at Barclay Street Real Estate since 2014. He is a commercial associate working on team that focuses on Beltline and Suburban office leasing. He made an exception to the office leasing focus of his team to work on an exclusive retail assignment when an old friend began NewLeaf Cannabis. He has since been a part of 19 cannabis store deals for the company, and directly connected by way of referral to another 10 approximately. He is excited to see the industry legalize in October and believes there is a lot of opportunity still ahead. "
